Ella’s Two-ti Frutti Birthday Party πŸ‰πŸ

For those who know me well, know I am OBSESSED with anything pineapple or watermelon. So obviously I had to make Ella’s 2nd birthday a Pinterest inspired “Two-ti Frutti” theme! Ella loves watermelon so It all came together perfectly and was such a fun day!

*UPDATE* I started this post back in March when her actual birthday is lol but haven’t had a chance to get it posted. Ugh slacker for days. Anyway I added a ton of pictures over on Facebook and I have been getting tons of questions about everything, so here are the details:

Let’s start with the fabulous cake! I ordered it and the mini fruit cookies from Dolce Cake Confections in Jacksonville! I was sooo pleased with everything. She was so patient with me and did such a great job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she worked with me to get make my vision a reality!

The cookies were my favorite part honestly. I mean the cake is AMAZE but I was so stoked about my little mini fruit cookies. She did EXACTLY what I wanted and even special ordered the mini cookie cutters to accommodate my wishes πŸ™‚ and they were so tasty! The girls loved them!

The “2” balloon I ordered from etsy.com/blushbazaar

Publix blew up all my balloons for me!

The watermelon balloon is from Publix.

The confetti balloons are from Walmart.

The marble tray is a DIY project I just recently made! Check out how to make it here: http://www.mydearhart.com/?p=3222

The fruit garland I also made myself –
I printed some super cute round fruits off Pinterest about 5 or 6 fruits per page, I used regular printer paper but a card stock may hold up better. Using tiny colorful clothes pins that I found at Walmart I pinned each fruit to a long piece of twine. How ever long you need it. And VOILA! DIY fruit banner!

The celebrate gold sparkly sign came from the bargain section at Target! Yaaaassss target!

My fruit cups were a fan favorite- the clear cups came from dollar tree (they crack easy so be careful) I printed more cute little fruits with shades on off Pinterest and taped one to each cup. My mom made a delicious fruit salad and we filled each cup!
My pink Pom poms came from dollar tree and I threw a couple real pineapples in there to liven it up!

The Watermelon Rice Crispie treats were super cute and done by my step mother in law and there is also some real sliced watermelon in there!

For lunch food we had Gilberts Underground Kitchen cater the event with BBQ pork, turkey, heavenly mac n cheese and a whole tray of different sauces!

If you have any questions feel free to ask! It was a perfect day!
