Skirt Steak Greek Salad 🌿

Steak and Greek stuff = a heavenly duo.

This is a perfect little salad for any kind of night. Fire up the grill and let’s start chopping some veggies!



INGREDIENTS:

-1 1/2 lbs of skirt steak
-Chopped romaine
-1 red onion
-1 green pepper
-1 cucumber
-1 cup feta cheese
-3 plum tomatoes
-2 cups olive/Mediterranean mix (from publix deli)
-Salt & Pepper
-Worcestershire sauce
-Steak seasoning (your choice) we used a medley of cabinet mixes.
-2 tablespoons of olive oil
-Marie’s Greek Dressing

DIRECTIONS:

Season your steak, both sides and rub all over meat.


Let the steak marinate while you chop the veggies!


We sliced our onions and green peppers as thin as we could.

And we visited the fresh olive/Greek mix bar in the deli section at Publix and got a delish mix of almost everything on it


Next – rinse and chop your romaine lettuce.

Once all veggies are chopped – combine them in a large bowl and add 1 cup feta cheese crumbles, add salt and pepper and olive oil and mix together lightly.


Toss with romaine lettuce.


Cook steak on the grill to your preferred temperature, once done, slice steak and place on top of salad with a few more feta cheese sprinkles and a drizzle of the Marie’s Greek dressing.

And VOILA – Dinner is served!

Enjoy this meal with a glass of rosé, corona, lemonade, good ol’ sweet tea, whatever.

and if the weather is nice, al fresco!
