Holly Jolly Holiday πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸΌ

Well folks the election is over. Thank goodness. What a draining, depressing, stressful year of politics. One of the most controversial elections ever and has unfortunately caused a great divide in our country. Friends, co workers, even family in a bad way with one another over the two candidates. While neither one of the candidates were my numero uno pick to run our great nation, I am feeling optimistic in Donald Trump and looking forward to positive changes. Now that it’s over it’s time to come together and be a strong positive America! With the holidays approaching it’s important to show kindness to one another. Teach our children respect and kindness. Let’s move on from the negativity and tension the election has created. Let’s all have a holly jolly holiday together this year and show every human how great America is and will be! We are all different in our own way and we all share different opinions but we are also very much alike. More than we realize. For the LOVE of all christmas lights and bundt cakes do not drag this brutal negative hatred through the holidays.

Excuse the language but Clark Griswold speaks the truth πŸŽ„

Changing the world starts right inside your home! Love your family and spread the love! We need to learn to accept other people’s opinions and educate ourselves on others views before bashing them this holiday season. We need to teach our children to respect our president. Instead of sharing negative posts about the election and the new president let’s share the positive words instead. We all need to learn what we can do personally to make things better.

  • Make your neighbor a hot meal.
  • Buy a toy for a toy drive.
  • Volunteer at a local animal or homeless shelter.
  • Hold the door for someone.
  • Remind all of your family members how much you love them.
  • Make a holiday card with your children for the students in their class.
  • Add a little more to the gratuity on your restaurant bill
  • Visit a local children’s hospital or nursing home and pass out baked goods

I would like to invite all my friends and followers to a fun Instagram or Facebook game! Let’s all focus on being positive and showing love and kindness with our families. #mydearhartholiday all your pictures showing your favorite holiday activities with friends and family! Whether it be ideas listed above or baking yummy christmas cookies together, building a snowman and having a snowball fight or just plain cuddling on the couch watching a good ol’ christmas movie! Let’s move on from this destruction and spread christmas cheer from sea to shining sea πŸ™‚ I will be reposting and sharing favorite pictures from everywhere.

Let’s all focus on our families and have a HOLLY JOLLY HOLIDAY this year!

 Peace, Love & Joy!

Love, Ash ❀️
