ATL/Georgia Aquarium 🐬

For the past couple of years Riley has begged us to take her to an aquarium, she is obsessed with the ocean and all the sea life! The Georgia Aquarium was obviously a no brainer with it being pretty close for a weekend getaway! So we did it and had a BLAST!

The drive up from the island was not bad at all! We actually left on Friday evening after work and although we got there kinda late, it was worth it to be able to wake up in our hotel room already in Atlanta and be able to just go right to the aquarium! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Atlanta and it was great! The hotel was clean and nice and the customer service was amazing! It was walking distance to the aquarium & restaurants & centennial park!

We got up in the morning and walked to Waffle House which was delish! And had some entertainment while we waited for a table! πŸ˜‚

After breakfast we strolled over to the aquarium, we bought our tickets online ahead of time and we didn’t have to stand in the line outside! Definitely buy ahead of time & check for special deals! Once we got in we had a blast and the girls were in awe! First up- DOLPHINS! 🐬🐬🐬

Up next- THE TUNNEL! πŸŸπŸ’§πŸ’™

The tunnel was amazing, the aquarium was busy that morning with lots of people but it was still so cool! All sorts of fish swim around you, big & small!

Next we saw the freshwater animals-

Then the Penguins 🐧🐧🐧

Seahorse, star fish, spider crabs & more

We did a lot of walking and exploring the city πŸŒƒ it was such a fun little get away! We shall return ATL!

Love- Ashley 😘
