Chicken Alfredo Ziti Bake
1 rotisserie chicken
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 heaping tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon basil pesto
1 tablespoon of olive oil packed sun dried tomatos (in jar)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 box of ziti noodles
Shred chicken off of rotisserie chicken and place aside in bowl.
Boil ziti noodles until al dente, set aside.
In skillet – combine heavy cream, milk, both cheeses , butter, Italian seasoning, pesto, sun dried tomatos and garlic. Salt & pepper. Let cheeses melt and add shredded chicken. Mix well. Continue to simmer.
In casserole dish, layer ziti noodles, chicken cream sauce, ziti noodles, chicken cream sauce, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
