Tired. So very tired.

Anxious. So very anxious.

Am I depressed? Or am I just super tired? Or am I on my period? What if I’m pregnant again? My stomach has been kinda bloated lately! Oh dear god, I’m pregnant, and depressed..ugggghhhh I’m so aggravated… I’m having an anxiety attack!!!

Next day-

Friend:”Do you guys want more kids?”

Me:”oh yeah for sure, we definitely aren’t done!”

Being a woman 101.


You know what helps with anxiety? Clipping your one year olds fingernails.

I’m walking a thin line on becoming this dude-

Seriously though are men losing their shit? Are they experiencing these feelings? No they aren’t and I’m not even sure why women are the only ones that have to go through what we go through..

Wait yes I do know.

Because women are gods. Literally.

Bad ass magical creatures who have to endure physical and psychological torture. But continue to push through everyday and be amazing mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, care givers, well everything. Women can be/do anything/everything.

Dramatic? Maybe. But it’s the truth.

So I have to talk about the weird ones too-

The lil Wayne Samsung commercial. Where he walks into the gas station and just pours champagne on his phone the whole time. It makes me cringe. I really used to jam to lil Wayne. That’s no lie, people who know me well know that I was a lil Wayne lover from way back. But weezy your new Samsung commercials have got to go..


Let’s replace all those commercials with this brilliance-

Recipe tiiiiiiime 🍴

Citrus Garlic Baked Snapper & Rice {this recipe is from}


2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided

1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped

Juice of 2 limes

1 cup long grain white rice

2 cups water

4 fish fillets (such as snapper, grouper, tilapia), 1 1/2 lb

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth)

1/4 cup orange juice

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

1 teaspoon paprika


Prepare rice following package instructions (using 2 cups water and remaining 1 tablespoon oil).

Coat fish with seasoned salt and place in baking dish, turning to coat with oil (wash hands). Arrange peppers and onions over fish; sprinkle with cilantro.

Combine remaining ingredients; pour over fish. Bake 15–20 minutes (uncovered) or until fish is 145Β°F (or opaque and separates easily). Serve over rice.

One Pot Lemon Pepper Chicken & Rice {this recipe is from}


3 Tbsp. Lemon Pepper

1 Tbsp. Paprika

2 cloves Garlic, minced

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

2 lbs Chicken Thighs With Skin

4Tbsp. Butter

1 Yellow Onion, diced

4 cloves Garlic, minced

1 1/2 cup Arborio Rice

1/4 cup White Wine

4 cups Chicken Broth

1 1/2 cup Milk

Pepper to taste

1 cup Parmesan

1/4 cup Parsley (Optional)


Preheat your oven to 350˚F/ 175˚C.

Combine lemon pepper, paprika, and garlic in a small bowl. In a large oven-proof pot, heat olive oil on medium heat. Season both sides of the chicken and place in the pot skin side down. Cook for three minutes, turn the heat up to medium high and cook for an additional two minutes (or until browned). Turn the chicken over and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Remove chicken from the pot and set aside. (Don’t worry! It will finish cooking when you put it in the oven.)
With a paper towel, carefully wipe out excess fat, leaving the seasoning. On medium high, melt two Tbsp. of butter in the pot and add the diced onions and minced garlic. Cook until onions are translucent (1-2 minutes). Add the rice and stir until it becomes translucent (1-2 minutes). Pour in the white wine and let it cook until most of the wine has evaporated (about two minutes). Add the chicken broth, one cup of milk, and a dash of pepper and stir. Bring it to a simmer. Place the chicken back into the pot. Cover with a lid or foil and bake for 30 minutes (remove lid after 20 minutes).

Remove the chicken from the pot and broil on high for 2-3 minutes or until the skin has nicely browned. Add the other two Tbsp. butter, parmesan, 1/2 cup of milk and parsley to the rice. Stir until well combined. Return the chicken on top of the rice and serve.

Crock Pot Stuffing with Green Beans & Corn {this recipe is from the} & I added some things


1(10.5) ounce can of cream of chicken soup (or use cream of mushroom soup, it’s less salty)

8 oz. sour cream

1 (6 oz.) box stuffing mix* (Stove Top & Pepperidge Farm are a few of my favs)

ΒΎ cup water

1 (16 oz.) bag frozen green beans

3-4 large chicken breasts, salted and peppered if desired.

My add ins-

3 slices pepper jack cheese

1 can kernel corn

1/2 cup of chicken broth


1(10.5) ounce can of cream of chicken soup (or use cream of mushroom soup, it’s less salty)

8 oz. sour cream

1 (6 oz.) box stuffing mix* (Stove Top & Pepperidge Farm are a few of my favs)

ΒΎ cup water

1 (16 oz.) bag frozen green beans

3-4 large chicken breasts, salted and peppered if desired.


Place the chicken on the bottom of the crock pot.

Mix together the soup, sour cream, stuffing, half of the water, and place over the chicken.

Place the string beans either on one side of the crock pot or over the stuffing. You’ll want to mix the stuffing periodically if possible- I don’t mind mixing the string beans in with the stuffing but if you’d prefer that they remain separate, place the string beans more to the side.

Add the remaining water during the cooking process as needed. I always use all of the water but crock pots cook slightly differently, so adding as needed is safer. If you’re leaving for the day, add the remaining water when you return if you feel you need it.

Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 6-7

*No need to cook the stuffing mix prior to adding to crock pot
